Weinstein is scheduled to return to court for another hearing on Oct. 2. Prosecutors also have requested the new charge be folded into Weinstein’s retrial on criminal sexual assault and third-degree rape charges. Judge Chris Farber indicated he would rule whether to do so early next month, according to the Associated Press. A retrial is scheduled for Nov. 12.
