Hurricane Helene has left millions without power, caused destruction to homes and resulted in at least six deaths as it makes its way through Florida and Georgia, with some of its destruction captured on video (below).

Hurricane Helene made landfall at about 11:10 p.m. EDT Thursday, around 45 miles southeast of Tallahassee, Florida, before gradually weakening to a Category 1 hurricane as it moved inland, bringing dangerously high waters that flooded homes and buildings.

Over two million homes and businesses across Florida, Georgia and South Carolina are without power; Florida was hit the worst, with around 1.25 million people facing blackouts.
